The Chabauty-Kim method produces sets of p-adic points on a curve containing the set of rational points. A central question in Kim's programme is to determine when these sets can be proved to be finite. In this talk I will explain a proof of finiteness in two cases of interest: non-split Cartan modular curves of level p and Atkin-Lehner quotients of X0(p). This is joint work with Samuel Le Fourn and Samir Siksek.
