Elliptic Curves over Real Quadratic Fields are Modular

Abstract
We combine a 3-5-7 modularity switching argument with the
latest in modularity lifting to show that most elliptic curves over totally real fields are modular. Using some computations on modular curves we are able to deduce the modularity of elliptic curves over real quadratic fields.
This talk is based on joint work with Nuno Freitas and Bao Le Hung.
