Modular invariants for genus 3 hyperelliptic curves

Abstract
In this talk we will give invariants for genus 3 hyperelliptic curves for which we know a modular expression, that is, we can write them in term of theta constants. Moreover, we will show a combination of them for which we can bound the primes in the denominators for CM curves. These invariants look like the right ones to implement the CM-method for genus 3 hyperelliptic curves.
